Making your own cranberry sauce is easy. Orange juice and zest add fresh, tangy flavor.
Directions:
Put cranberries in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook until they start to pop open. After about a quarter of the berries have popped, lower heat to medium. Add sugar and orange juice. Stir to mix well. Add orange zest and salt. Stir again to mix well. Reduce heat to medium-low. Continue cooking 3 to 5 minutes more.
Remove from heat and let sit about 15 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
