The Beckett Life Center (BLC) was created out of a need for a long-term solution to the complex socio-economic problems that the community of North Philadelphia faces. Their mission is to become a space where dedicated community advocates can help disadvantaged children and their families to build personal and professional skills to overcome barriers to success.
