Akron Urban Agriculture believes affordable, accessible, nutrient-rich foods in local communities are essential to creating real community development. They have acquired vacant lots around Akron to provide resources for residents in need and started a chemical-free farm as a demonstration site. Programming includes education and training for gardeners, farmers, ranchers, and residents.
